Abstract: Aim Lacustrine environments are unique locations to study temporal fluctuations derived from natural and artificial sources within a hydrographic basin. The objective of this was analyze the diel cycle physicochemical parameters their influence on phytoplankton community structure in open waters, as well as, evaluate total phosphorus nitrogen contents vicinity fish tanks lagoon, identify assemblage water column an area during rainy dry seasons. Methods epilimnion hypolimnion zones were assessed over 24 hours, starting at 10:00 day one finishing two, obtaining 36 samples (9 3-hour intervals, two lake zones, seasons). Sampling employed Van Dorn sampling bottle, Morphologically Based Functional Groups (MBFG), Shannon-Weaver Simpson Indices describe identified genera. Results Six seven monitored registered higher values season; only transparency season. Fifteen genera distributed nine classes identified, with richness diversity being Conclusions MBFG sinking properties group has influenced vertical migration phytoplankton. daily method effectively captured 24-hour period both seasons Chacas Lagoon.

Abstract Aim This study aims to analyze the scientific literature on phytoplankton in assessing lake water quality, based bibliometric and network techniques. Methods PRISMA criteria were adopted produce reliable results. The Scopus Web of Science databases consulted retrieve documents be studied. number publications, citations bibliographic coupling techniques used identify relevant journals, countries, authors, articles. conceptual evolution was analyzed by keywords co-occurrence thematic mapping. Results Based 2429 selected from 1973-2023 annual period, main results indicated 519 6450 54907 references, 4844 keyword among others. growth index 10.27%, reflecting upward trend at time. Erick Jeppesen resulted as top influential author, China leaded publications collaborations with United States America. Hydrobiologia journal. Top articles content theme related cyanobacterial blooms. According analysis framework, phytoplankton, eutrophication, cyanobacteria most themes. Furthermore, trending topics mainly climate change degradation. Conclusions comprehensive allowed us interpret development research subject quality.
