The land use in agricultural areas contributes to economic growth while concurrently accompanied by a series of environmental pollution issues. Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is typical area with selenium-rich soil, and the rice navel oranges grown there have high nutritional value. This study analyzed distribution heavy metals soil this through kriging interpolation method, evaluated risks using different index methods, quantitatively their sources principal component analysis (PCA) positive matrix factorization (PMF), aim protecting ecological resources providing theoretical references for avoiding metal crops soil. research results indicate following: (1) Based on background values Ganzhou, all caused except As Hg, among which Cd poses highest potential risk area. According Environmental Quality Standards Soil (EQSS), concentrations not exceeded standards relatively low risks. (2) In terms health risks, basically do bring non-carcinogenic but acceptable carcinogenic adults children, Cd. children are higher than those adults, main exposure route ingestion. Among types, orchards highest. (3) Combining method PCA PMF models, it can be determined that two area: one natural other anthropogenic. anthropogenic sources, contribute most pollution. Through these results, found detection should conducted land, risk-based management measures implemented.

Introduction Global mining activities have significant impacts on ecosystems, but most studies focused only the relationship between soil physicochemical properties and microbial diversity in soils. The present study provides an insight into effects of physico-chemical endophytic bacterial community composition rhizosphere three different crops. Methods Musa basjoo Siebold L., Amygdalus persica Triticum aestivum L. were collected from inter-root soils plant roots to determine communities root system. Abstract The soil environment plays an important role in urban ecosystems. To study the heavy metal contamination of Beilun District, Ningbo, we collected samples from 60 points and peri-urban areas District analyzed spatiotemporal variation sources pollution various land-use types. results shown that contents 2015 2022 were higher than background values Ningbo city, there was accumulation metals over these 7 years. green belts woodland those 2015, while no significant change agricultural land. both years mainly order > land woodland. distribution content showed concentrated five industrial areas, a trend toward disappearance highly polluted points. But single-factor index, load index (PLI), geoaccumulation (I geo ) indicated individual elements at specific slight pollution. source analysis main Hg is chemical, As derived agricultural, Cr, Ni Cu are natural, Zn Cd electroplating machinery activities, Pb traffic. These specify reference for future investigation on metals, apportionment provide scientific foundation subsequent treatment.
