ABSTRACT The poly(butylene adipate‐co‐terephthalate) (PBAT) nanofiber film prepared by electrospinning method exhibits limited application in many fields due to its poor flame retardancy and machinal property, despite being a biodegradable material with exceptional toughness ductility properties. In this work, we employed microfluidic technology continuously produce blue fluorescent carbon dots (CDs) on an aluminum‐based chip using citrate ethanolamine as precursors. Subsequently, utilizing technology, the CDs/PBAT composite films fluorescence were situ reaction. Interestingly, compared pure PBAT membranes, membranes exhibit tensile strength of 4.31 MPa, representing remarkable increase 3.24 times, elongation at break 491%, indicating improvement 1.62 times. More importantly, it had demonstrated that incorporation CDs into can achieve flame‐retardant effects. We firmly believe strategy could open up new idea for synthesis point out direction meaningful fabrication high property.

Microplastics (MPs) are of great interest for study because they accumulate in environmental systems, such as terrestrial ones, which include agricultural soils. Unfortunately, recent years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many face masks have been discarded environment, causing an increase this type MP. This accumulation can influence physicochemical and biological properties soil derived from its microbial activity. In present study, different concentrations MPs commercial polypropylene (PP) were mixed with soil. Four treatments following MP studied: T1: 0%, T2: 0.5%, T3: 1%, T4: 5% w w−1. C N mineralization experiments carried out over time at microcosm level, where physicochemical, enzymatic ecophysiological indicators analyzed. Based on analyzed indicators, a quality index called Unified Weighted Additive Index (SQIu) was developed. The resulting SQIu showed Nmin indicator closest relationship soils MPs. Abstract The long‐term persistence of extracellular DNA in soils is well‐documented, yet its impacts on analyzing soil microbial abundance and diversity remain controversial. This primarily arises from our limited comprehension regarding the reliability various methods for studying live microbiotas. In this study, we systematically compared assessed commonly used diversity, including alkaline buffer washing, propidium monoazide (PMA) treatment, DNase pre‐digestion, rRNA‐based analysis, using collected a wide range locations across China. We found that elimination substantially influenced analysis prokaryotic abundance, community profiles, co‐occurrence patterns, but not assembly mechanisms. However, effects varied considerably different methods. pre‐digestion PMA treatment led to significant decreases while washing had negligible effects.
