The rapid development of the global chemical industry has led to widespread groundwater contamination, with frequent pollution incidents posing severe threats water safety. However, there been insufficient assessment health risks posed by chlorinated hydrocarbon contamination in around industrial parks. This study evaluates at a park and conducts multi-pathway risk assessment, identifying key pollutants. In addition, sensitivity analysis primary exposure pathways was performed using Monte Carlo method. results indicate exceedance pollutant concentrations diffusion. Carcinogenic were mainly driven vinyl chloride, whose oral cancer slope factor significantly higher than that other substances, while non-carcinogenic dominated trichloro-ethylene, which had lowest reference dose. Both carcinogenic through drinking pathway accounted for approximately 90% total risk, whereas contribution from dermal contact negligible. Although boiling can partially reduce risks, its effect on high-concentration pollutants is limited. Additionally, showed concentration influencing values, followed duration. findings this provide scientific basis effectively formulating control measures ensuring safety nearby residents.

Collagen is a non-toxic polymer that generated as residual product by several industries (e.g., leather manufacturing, meat and fish processing). It has been reported to be resistant bacteria have excellent retention capacity. However, the recovered collagen does not meet requirements used for pharmaceutical medical purposes. Due scarcity of water resources now affecting all continents, pollution major concern. Another field could integrate by-product wastewater treatment. Applications collagen-based materials in treatment discussed detail, comparisons with already frequently made. Heavy metals were discharged into the agricultural soil through coal mining, transportation, etc., posing a threat to human health food chain. In order investigate sources of heavy and potential risk population, we collected 298 surface samples in black area Sanjiang Plain Heilongjiang province tested concentrations seven metals. When linking PMF Human Health Risk Assessment model, it found about 56% pose carcinogenic children. Background. Physiological characteristics of the biofuel plant Miscanthus × giganteus J. M. Greef, Deuter ex Hodk. & Renvoize are currently attracting much attention due to its phytoremediation potential.
