A new dual-channel and dual-functional fluorescent probe, DX3-AXI, is developed with the aid of computational chemistry, enabling viscosity SO2 detection in separate fluorescence emission channels. The probe DX3-AXI exhibits significant changes detection, demonstrating excellent interference resistance a linear response. Through Density Functional Theory (DFT) Time-Dependent (TDDFT) calculations, along hole–electron molecular analysis, energy level structure, local attachment mechanism response systematically revealed, that regulation interactions between rotatable bond double drives changes. Furthermore, portable sensing platform for on-site sulfite water samples was by coupling smartphone, rapid qualitative semiquantitative sulfite.
