Abstract In order to solve the advanced treatment problem of industrial wastewater and simultaneously satisfy needs ecological park mode construction, process “efficient three-dimensional ecology + constructed wetland” was designed applied. The technological process, design, operational effect, technical economic analysis project were systematically described. After stable operation for 12 months, average removal rates COD cr , BOD 5 SS, NH 3 -N, TN, TP 86.13%, 81.19%, 90.86%, 97.97%, 84.03%, 80.85%, respectively. effluent system could meet Class III standard requirements “Environmental Quality Standards Surface Water” (GB3838-2002), achieving high-quality resource utilization.

Microplastics and heavy metal contamination frequently co-occur in stormwater filtration systems, where their interactions may potentially compromise nitrogen removal. Current research on microplastics Cd predominantly focuses soils constructed wetlands, with limited attention given to systems. In this study, the single synergistic effects of aged polyethylene (PE) cadmium (Cd) infiltration systems were investigated from perspectives removal, microbial community structures, predicted functional genes cycling. Results showed that PE demonstrated stronger inhibition NO3−–N removal than Cd. Low-level (PE content: 0.1% w/w) Cd-contaminated inhibitory effect high-level 5% w/w). The mean efficiency under combined Cd50 (Cd concentration: 50 μg/L) PE5 during sixth rainstorm event was 1.04 34.68 times other scenarios. Metagenomic analysis identified keystone genera (Saccharimonadales, Enterobacter, Aeromonas, etc.), critical transformation pathways (nitrate reduction ammonium, denitrification, fixation, nitrification) govern system performance. most pronounced nitrification/denitrification enzymes beyond nitrite oxidase nitrate reductase.
