Summary Backgrounds and Aims Alcohol use leads to disabilities deaths worldwide. It not only harms the liver but also causes alcohol disorder (AUD) heart disease. Additionally, consumption contributes health disparities among different socio‐economic groups. Methods We estimated global regional trends in burden of AUD, disease, cardiovascular disease from using methodology Global Burden Disease study. Results In 2019, highest disability‐adjusted life years rate per 100,000 population was due AUD (207.31 [95% Uncertainty interval (UI) 163.71–261.66]), followed by alcohol‐associated (ALD) (133.31 UI 112.68–156.17]). The prevalence decreased for (APC [annual percentage change] −0.38%) alcohol‐induced cardiomyopathy −1.85%) increased ALD 0.44%) cancer 0.53%). Although mortality 0.30%), rates other diseases decreased. Between 2010 complications countries with low low‐middle sociodemographic index (SDI), contributing more significantly burden. Conclusion liver, has been high increasing over past decade, particularly complications. Lower SDI are this There is a pressing need effective strategies address escalating

Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)/IGF-1 Receptor (IGF-1R) signaling is known to regulate stem cell pluripotency and differentiation trigger proliferation, organ development, tissue regeneration during embryonic development. Unbalanced IGF/IGF-1R can promote cancer proliferation activate reprogramming in tumor tissues, especially the liver. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) one of leading causes cancer-related death, with a high incidence mortality rate Asia. Most patients advanced HCC develop tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI)-refractoriness after receiving TKI treatment. Dysregulation may expression stemness that leads refractoriness recurrence. In this review, we summarize evidence for dysregulated hepatitis B virus (HBV)-associated HCC. The regulation drug resistance will be highlighted. Current clinical treatments potential therapies targeting treatment discussed.

Liver cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide. We aimed to report burden liver at global, regional, and national levels in 204 countries from 1990 2019, stratified by etiology, sex, age, sociodemographic index (SDI).Data mortality, incidence, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) its etiology were available Global Burden Diseases, Injuries, Risk Factors (GBD) Study 2019. The trends assessed annual percentage change. All estimates are presented as numbers age-standardized rates (ASRs) per 100,000 population, with uncertainty intervals (UIs).Globally, 484,577 (95% UI 444,091-525,798) mortalities, 534,364 (486,550-588,639) incident cases, 12,528,422 (11,400,671-13,687,675) due occurred ASRs 5.95 (5.44-6.44), 6.51 (5.95-7.16), 151.08 (137.53-164.8) population for incidences, DALYs, respectively. From increased, whereas decreased. Hepatitis B C major causes mortality. mortality 2019 increased peaking 65-69 70-74 age group males females, respectively, number was higher than females. Generally, there nonlinear associations between ASR SDIs values regional levels. China had highest Mongolia has 2019.Liver remains a public health issue worldwide, but etiological geographical variations exist. It necessary increase awareness regarding cancer, etiologies importance early detection, diagnosis treatment.

Over the past decade, scientific evidence for properties, functions, and beneficial effects of probiotics humans has continued to accumulate. Interest in use increased tremendously. Among various microorganisms, using bacteria have been widely studied commercialized, and, among them, Lactobacillus is representative. This genus contains about 300 species (recently differentiated into 23 genera) countless strains reported. They improved a wide range diseases including liver disease, gastrointestinal diseases, respiratory autoimmune diseases. Here, we intend discuss depth as representative probiotic chronic
