Abstract Radon is a well-known precursor for geodynamic events such as earthquakes and volcanic tremors. concentration variations in soil gas have been monitored worldwide, extreme radon values identified anomalies associated with events. A time series contains many noise signals, primarily based on meteorological effects. Therefore, detecting from outside the mean plus few standard deviations or average distribution threshold may not always yield good results. Instead of analyzing specific anomalies, an alternative method can be used to analyze trend changes series. This study examines locally estimated scatterplot smoothing (LOESS) identify During two-year period measurements, two separate groups anomaly mechanisms were identified. In first group, increases before earthquake decreases after earthquake, while second group it shows opposite behavior.

Pipelines are the main mode of transportation for resources such as oil and natural gas, which always facing many security challenges during process.
