Abstract Studying the influencing factors of college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability is crucial to optimizing students in context high-quality development. Based on this, this paper constructs an SEM structural equation model improves convergence PLS algorithm using least squares solution optimal iteration initial value for model. Then, correlation analysis done between six factors, such as national policy, birthplace, entrepreneurial activities, ability, finally, hypothesis influence verified by test. The main results are follows: constructed a with five levels 18 ranked their importance. model’s fit coefficient 0.927>0.9 sign high degree regression coefficients dimensions calculated according 0.781, 0.939, 0.243, 0.935, 0.839. All have significant positive impact entrepreneurship. This finds that there place origin, education, internship experience, optimization path ability.

The standardization of river system structures has reduced hydrological connectivity, exerting significant pressure on both ecology and urban development. precise diagnosis proposal optimization strategies remain key challenges. This study utilizes graph theory to delineate the network topology in Chengdu city establishes an evaluation index (α, β, γ) for connectivity. Spatiotemporal changes Chengdu's connectivity from 2000 2020 are analyzed, alongside a validated scheme focusing "pressure dispersion" among nodes. findings reveal simplification structure over past two decades, marked by reduction 72 nodes 81 segments. Particularly center (region II), these have significantly diminished overall Following implementation method, distribution critical Region II been more equitably, enhancing resilience against disasters like floods diversifying burden Furthermore, indices showed improvements post-optimization, with α, γ rising 75%, 7.26%, respectively, thereby validating efficacy approach. Analyzing variations parameters across systems identifies vulnerable links fundamental issues, laying groundwork future improvements. proposed methodology offers insights applicable cities worldwide grappling similar

The parameters of Low-Impact Development (LID) facilities significantly influence their operational performance and runoff control effectiveness at the site. Despite extensive research on LID effectiveness, limited studies have focused optimizing design a community-wide scale, integrating both hydrological statistical methodologies. A novel approach to was presented in this study. This study established community-scale SWMM model, identified key by Morris screening method, determined reasonable parameter ranges based effects. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) applied optimize under different return periods impervious area ratios. results showed that for volume were berm height surface layer sunken greenbelt (SG_Surface_H), conductivity soil (SG_Soil_I), permeability pavement permeable (PP_Pavement_I), thickness storage (PP_Storage_T). 50–265 mm, 5–80 mm/h, 50–140 100–165 respectively. peak flow reduction SG_Surface_H, SG_Soil_I, PP_Pavement_I, vegetated swale (VS_Surface_H). 50–260 5–50 50–195 50–145 optimization rate, strategy involved increasing SG_Surface_H as period increased when ratio large, especially rehabilitation old communities. Meanwhile, optimal value SG_Soil_I greater than reduction. In contrast, PP_Pavement_I larger provides significant reference planning emphasizing parameters.

The increase in rainfall intensity caused by climate change, combined with high levels of urban soil sealing and the limited capacity drainage systems, is significantly increasing flooding risk. Integrated stormwater management a key factor dealing consequences change mitigating flood risk based on nature-based solutions. An experimental site was designed to assess hydrological response vegetated swales depending different catchment surfaces, evaluate impact spatial variability hydraulic conductivity (K). A model developed EPA SWMM calibrated measured data two active surfaces (N6—50 m2 N11—100 m2). validation assessed NSE scores higher than 0.7. simulations considered various factors, such as water level swales, actual rainfall, evapotranspiration, swale geometry, area (Sa), conductivities natural silty soil, assess, for heaviest event, best morphological characteristics. study examined K (8) Sa (6) storage capacity, 250 mm depth. showed that overflow limit exceeded N10 (90 m2) when ≤ 2 × 10−6 m/s, N11 (100 4 m/s. These results provide valuable information optimal swales’ geometrical physical properties.

The hydrologic performance and cost-effectiveness of green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) in climates with highly variable precipitation is an important subject urban management. We measured the effects two bioretention basins San Antonio, Texas, a growing city region prone to flash flooding. Pre-construction, inflow, outflow hydrographs were compared test whether reduced peak flow magnitude altered metrics flashiness, including rate rise fall. determined construction annual maintenance cost one basin antecedent moisture conditions mitigation effectiveness. flashiness when comparing inflow pre-construction hydrographs, reducing magnitudes by >80% on average. Basin was not strongly affected or conditions, though range sampled limited. Construction costs higher than previously reported projects, but similar no maintain equivalent landscaped area. Results indicate that effectively mitigate even flash-flood-prone environments, which should benefit downstream ecosystems. results provide unique assessment environments can inform optimization implementing GSI at watershed scales regions current future regimes.
