Abstract
In
light
of
the
escalating
global
warming
and
frequency
extreme
weather
events,
agricultural
sector,
being
a
fundamental
pivotal
industry
worldwide,
is
encountering
substantial
challenges
due
to
climate
change.
Using
Chinese
provincial
panel
data
for
2000–2021,
this
paper
utilizes
two‐way
fixed‐effect
model
investigate
impact
Climate
Risk
(CR)
on
green
total
factor
productivity
in
agriculture
(AGTFP),
with
China's
policy
uncertainty
(CPU)
introduced
as
moderating
variable
within
research
framework
scrutinize
its
influence
context.
The
findings
reveal
noteworthy
adverse
effect
CR
AGTFP,
further
exacerbated
by
CPU.
Heterogeneity
analysis
results
show
that
there
clear
regional
variation
AGTFP
across
different
regions,
significantly
inhibiting
development
