This study presents a novel composite superabsorbent hydrogel (SAH) synthesized from nanosilica and polyacrylic acid, demonstrating exceptional efficacy in removing Congo Red dye wastewater. Utilizing fast concentration gradient method, we achieved the synthesis of with high specific surface area 380 m2/g, total pore volume 0.81 cm3/g, mean diameter 17 nm. The modified particles are well-dispersed, around 83.5 % falling within 20-35 nm size range. resulting exhibited swelling ratio 165 after 135 min immersion water. Remarkably, over 98.5 removal efficiency at sorbent dosage 3 g/L contact time 1 h pH 7. maximum monolayer capacity obtained Langmuir isotherm was 555.56 mg/g. Additionally, it maintained 71.6 five regeneration cycles, highlighting its potential for sustainable wastewater treatment applications. possible mechanisms involve electrostatic interactions hydrogen bonding between molecules silica nanoparticles or hydrogel, facilitated by functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxylic, amino groups. research not only advances understanding properties but also introduces an innovative approach to enhance performance nanosilica-based adsorbents environmental remediation, marking significant contribution field management.
