The recovery of precious metals (PMs) from secondary resources has garnered significant attention due to environmental and economic considerations. Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have emerged as promising adsorbents for this purpose, owing their tunable pore size, facile functionalization, exceptional chemical stability, large specific surface area. This review provides an overview the latest research progress in utilizing COFs recover PMs. Firstly, design synthesis strategies chemically stable COF-based materials, including pristine COFs, functionalized composites, are delineated. Furthermore, application gold, silver, platinum group elements is delved into, emphasizing high adsorption capacity selectivity well recycling ability. Abstract The global shortage of fresh water is a critical issue, especially in regions with limited rainfall. Developing reliable and wastewater treatment technologies urgent. Since their inception in the early 1960s, use of nanoscale materials has progressed leaps and bounds, role diverse fields ranging from human health to energy is undeniable. In this report, we utilize CAS Content Collection, a vast repository scientific information extracted journal patent publications, identify emerging topics field. This involves understanding trends, such as growth certain over time, well establishing relationships between topics. Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) polymer has unlocked new frontiers in the field of nanotechnology and is suitable for a wide range applications. However, its optical band gap limits use optoelectronics. This study aims to ascertain influence varying montmorillonite magnetite ratios on properties electrospun PMMA nanofibres produced from solution. The were characterised using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron (SEM), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), energy-dispersive (EDX), spectroscopic ellipsometry, UV-Vis (UV-Vis). XRD analysis revealed successful incorporation within matrix, with diameters ranging 203 328 nm. altered light absorption characteristics PMMA, resulting increased ultraviolet visible regions compared pristine reduction 4.9 eV 2.5 eV. Microplastics and nanoplastics (MNPs) are emerging contaminants in drinking water sources that pose serious risks to human health ecosystems. Several removal strategies, such as adsorption, exist but present challenges for their industrial scalability. This review provides a concise overview of MNP adsorption mechanisms highlights the limited critical exploration column literature, emphasizing its importance large-scale applications. Special attention is given carbon-based materials due cost-effectiveness, environmental friendliness sustainability.
