Silybum marianum extract, obtained via microwave-enhanced extraction, was evaluated for its antioxidant, antidiabetic, and antimicrobial activities to explore therapeutic potential. The extraction performed using techniques, LC-MS/MS employed profile the metabolites in extract. Total phenolic flavonoid contents were quantified spectrophotometric methods. Antioxidant activity assessed DPPH, ABTS, CUPRAC, Phenanthroline, FRAP assays. Enzyme inhibition assays conducted evaluate antidiabetic against α-glucosidase α-amylase. Antimicrobial determined disc diffusion method, silico ADMET drug-likeness analyses key metabolites. extract contained 251.2 ± 1.2 mg GAE/g of total phenolics 125.1 1.6 QE/g flavonoids, with 33 identified, including acids, tannins, flavolignans. Strong antioxidant observed, IC50 values 19.2 2.3 μg/mL (DPPH), 7.2 1.7 (ABTS), 22.2 (CUPRAC), 35.2 1.8 (Phenanthroline), 24.1 (FRAP). Antidiabetic effects significant, 18.1 (α-glucosidase) 26.5 1.3 (α-amylase). demonstrated zones 8.9 1.1 mm (Bacillus subtilis), 12.6 (Escherichia coli), 8.2 (Fusarium oxysporum), 9.2 (Aspergillus niger). In showed high absorption, favorable metabolism excretion, minimal toxicity, no hERG channel or hepatotoxicity. comprehensive results highlight significant S. suggesting potential preventive applications.

Commiphora gileadensis is a medicinal plant with wide range of biological characteristics. Many medical diseases can be treated using the leaves C. gileadensis, including bacterial infections, inflammatory illnesses, and wounds. As result, Soxhlet extraction method was used to extract phenolic components measure recovery yields from leaf. The impacts parameters (extraction time 30–150 min, sample/solvent ratio 1:20–1:40 g/mL, concentration ethanol solvent 20–100% v/v) on total flavonoid content (TFC), (TPC), yield were investigated one-factor-at-a-time (OFAT) technique. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) gas chromatography–mass (GC–MS) analyses have been employed evaluate extracts for presence various phytochemicals. According results, leafs ethanolic extracted via process achieved maximum at 90 min time, feed/solvent 1:30 40% v/v concentration. These were: = 23.20 ± 0.10% w/w, TPC 59.93 1.33 mg GAE/g d.w., TFC 19.65 1.77 QE/g d.w.. Further, 20 excellent antioxidant characteristics found in leaf method.

This study investigated the extraction and quantification of specific phenolic compounds, including chlorogenic acid several pyranocoumarin derivatives, from leaves roots Peucedanum japonicum. Using high-performance liquid chromatography, this aimed to optimize methodologies with different solvents maximize yield bioactive compounds. The process involved meticulous steps, reflux solvent evaporation, total content was assessed using a spectrophotometric assay. results demonstrated that ethanol methanol were effective in extracting acid, yielding up 47.71 mg/g tannic equivalent MeOH extracts roots. Lacquer trees are an important economic tree species in China, and raw lacquer is its main secondary metabolite. Polyphenolic compounds the primary components of lacquer, among which diene urushiol exhibits high inhibitory activity against reverse transcriptase acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Therefore, this study established optimized ultrasound-assisted extraction process from leaves. Based on single-factor experiments number extractions, time, temperature, solvent to solid ratio, Box-Behnken Design response surface methodology was employed obtain optimal process, included three time 55 min, temperature 50 °C, a ratio 10:1 mL/g. Under these conditions, content 4.56 mg/g (FW), bore no significant difference theoretical value 4.69 indicating good model fit. (RSM) can be used optimize This method lays foundation for comprehensive development utilization resources.
