This
study
presents
a
systematic
bibliometric
analysis
to
identify
trends
and
gaps
in
research
on
SME
business
models
performance,
following
PRISMA
2020
guidelines.
A
comprehensive
search
of
the
Scopus
database
(1957–2025)
identified
85,494
initial
records.
After
removing
duplicates
applying
screening
criteria,
307
studies
were
included,
with
only
22
specifically
focused
performance.
The
flow
diagram
illustrates
selection
process.

reveal
three
key
themes:
digitalisation,
model
innovation,
sustainability.

While

SMEs

Abstract
The
significance
of
firm
environmental
performance
(FEP)
has
been
recognized
by
academic

Nevertheless,

Abstract
This
research
has

Although
environmental
turbulence
poses
significant
challenges
for
small
and
medium-sized
enterprises
(SMEs),
it
