How do CEOs’ unique early-life experiences—particularly those shaped by formative influences such as military training—impact their subsequent strategic decision-making in green innovation? By integrating upper-echelon theory, imprinting and the innovation literature, this paper explores whether when a CEO’s background firm’s adoption of practices, specifically within an emerging market context. Analyzing sample 1419 Chinese listed firms over period from 2007 to 2016, our results reveal significant positive effect experience on performance. Furthermore, we find that financial performance amplifies influence imprint outcomes. However, intensity government environmental regulation moderates effect, weakening relationship between personal values Theoretical practical implications are discussed.

This paper examines the relationships between knowledge networks and corporate environmental, social, governance (ESG) performance within context of green supply chain management (GSCM). There is a significant deficiency in addressing the unique characteristics of construction and demolition waste (C&DW) United Kingdom (UK) as it remains primary contributor to landfills. Circular economy (CE) practices are explored address this risk shortfall management comprehend reduction strategies for C&DW. Using Fuzzy Delphi approach, study maps assesses uncertainties associated with identifying indicators ranked CE adoption barriers achieve agreement twelve respondents. Abstract This study, which is anchored to Resource‐Based View (RBV) theory, explores the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI), process optimization, organizational flexibility, and sustainability performance in settings. Leveraging RBV framework's focus on internal resources as sources of competitive advantage, this research seeks clarify how AI adoption, flexibility foster sustainable growth. SPSS PROCESS Macro was used analyze data from 288 organizations. The findings derived empirical data, study verify positive relationships optimization well performance, revealing strategic nature a resource improve operational effectiveness environmental responsibility. This study delves into the interconnections among corporate social responsibility, green intellectual capital, ambidextrous innovation, and sustainable performance, particularly in context of Industry 4.0 sustainability. A questionnaire-based survey was conducted, a sample 317 small medium enterprises collected.
