Insects have important symbiotic relationships with their intestinal microbiota. The microbiota is involved in or influences various processes insects such as development, metabolism, immunity, and reproduction. Currently, research on the of parasitic still its early stages. tachinid parasitoid Exorista sorbillans a dipteran insect, silkworm (Bombyx mori) being main host. Silkworms parasitized by E. can suffer from severe maggot disease, which also poses serious threat to sericulture. In this study, larval at three instar stages was analyzed using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing explore community composition Additionally, conventional culture methods, six cultivable strains were isolated identified an antibiotic-free LB medium, four hemolymph silkworms. This study investigated perspective microbiota, elucidating structural characteristics parasitoid, preliminarily discussing functional roles several major microorganisms, helps further clarify potential mechanisms interaction between silkworm.
