Abstract This research analyzes the spatiotemporal trend of 23,121 monkeypox virus cases in multi‐country outbreak that affected 82 countries from January 2022 to July 2022. The trends analysis is developed using open data and GIS model 3D bins emerging hot spots globally (data by country) nationally region) for hardest hit countries, like USA Spain. implemented methodology distinguishes between problem areas —as significant spots— with no pattern. Results show consecutive spot patterns Western Europe high location quotients North America. Factually, record 16,494 cases, is, 71.34% where 7.63% world population live. At national level, Spain, results reveal regional differences significative California on East Coast Mediterranean coast proposed facilitates monitoring evolution scalable replicable non‐arbitrary statistical parameters. findings indicate problematic zones real‐time, enabling policymakers develop focused interventions proactive strategies mitigate future risk monkeypox.

Monkeypox is a DNA virus that belongs to the family of smallpox, with an incubation period seven 14 days and may last up 21 days. The Virus replicates on reaching host cells, from where it spreads lymph nodes then distant organs. symptoms include fever, lymphadenopathy, mucocutaneous lesions. infection does not spread during but being symptomatic drying scabs. Smallpox vaccination protects against monkeypox its has been developed. An outbreak pox appeared rapidly across Europe, America, all six continents.

The re-emergence of monkeypox as a significant global health concern has highlighted the need to reassess its clinical presentation, particularly impact on pulmonary health. Traditionally associated with dermatological symptoms, recent outbreaks in non-endemic regions have underscored virus's potential for widespread transmission and respiratory complications. Emerging evidence indicates that infection can lead symptoms such cough, sore throat, and, severe cases, pneumonia acute distress syndrome (ARDS). capacity transmission, coupled coinfection other pathogens, poses challenges management. Understanding pathophysiology monkeypox's lungs, which may involve direct viral invasion immune-mediated damage, is critical developing effective public strategies. As continues spread, recognizing addressing complications will be essential mitigating outcomes, vulnerable populations pre-existing conditions.

Background: Human Monkey Pox (HMPX) is a zoonotic disease caused by the pathogenic agent Monkeypox Virus (MPXV) and remains global health burden. After Africa, its outbreak has been reported in America, Europe, few other regions of Africa. While quite cases were also Pakistan. Although it self-limiting disease, potential threat to human population, with an increasing morbidity rate case fatality rate. Methods: In cross-sectional study conducted from September December 2022, aim was assess knowledge attitudes medical allied students regarding Mpox. Three hundred various departments at Hamdard University Karachi participated using convenience sampling. They given electronic questionnaire gather their responses. Results: The findings showed that participants had average (Χ2=1.080, p>0.05). Many positive towards (Χ2=67.22, p<0.001). Based on gender, male better (Χ2=17.32, p < 0.01), whereas attitude both genders (Χ2=24.87, p<0.01). MBBS Pharm D demonstrated (Χ2=81.058, 0.01) while DPT toward Conclusion: Knowledge emerging pandemics needs be improved professions. Thus, more focused learning crucial developing futuristic professional attitude. Keywords: Healthcare, Knowledge, Monkeypox, Pandemic.

Abstract Background There is a dearth of information regarding mpox risk perception and vaccine acceptance among people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), especially in countries dual burden HIV mpox, such as Nigeria. Methods We used an explanatory mixed methods design structured questionnaires administered to clinic-based sample (n=430), followed by in-depth interviews purposive subsample (n=20). Data were analysed using binary logistic regression the framework approach. Results More than one-third (38.1% [n=164]) respondents self-perceived high 64.4% (n=277) indicated willingness receive vaccine. Willingness accept was positively associated male sex, older age, non-Muslim faith, unmarried status, post-secondary education current civil service employment. The odds accepting also higher who perceived serious disease (adjusted ratio [aOR] 1.41 [95% confidence interval {CI} 1.12 2.35]), self-assessed (aOR 1.66 CI 1.19 3.06]) concerned about contracting 1.78 3.94]). Reasons for hesitancy included anxiety vaccine–antiretroviral drug interactions, low perception, protection from antiretroviral treatment, newness vaccine, mistrust authorities pharmaceutical companies concerns safety. Conclusions Mpox suboptimal. Vaccine influenced sociodemographic, susceptibility health behaviour-related factors. Targeted communication will enhance vaccination

Abstract The eradication of smallpox was officially declared by the WHO in 1980, leading to discontinuation vaccination campaign against virus. Consequently, immunity and related orthopoxviruses like Monkeypox virus gradually declines, highlighting need for efficient countermeasures not only prevention, but also treatment already exposed individuals. We have recently developed human-like monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) from vaccinia virus-immunized non-human primates. Two mAbs, MV33 EV42, targeting two infectious forms virus, were selected vivo evaluation, based on their vitro neutralization potency. A single dose either or EV42 administered 3 days post-infection (dpi) provided full protection lethal ectromelia challenge. Importantly, a combination both mAbs conferred even when 5 dpi. Whole-body bioimaging viral load analysis revealed that allowed faster more clearance target organs compared separately. combined further post-exposure currently circulating therapeutic potential other orthopoxviruses.
