An interesting development in textile apparel sectors is smart textiles. Industrial symbiosis, a promising approach for sustainable industrial practices, has garnered attention in recent days its ability to enhance resource efficiency, minimize waste, and preserve the environment through collaborative exchanges among industries. In emerging economies like Bangladesh, integrating symbiosis manufacturing industries offers potential balance economic growth with environmental sustainability. However, this integration encounters various barriers that complicate implementation. Despite research on robust economies, studies developed are still scarce. To date, no yet investigated hindering performance of Bangladeshi apparel sector. address gap, study integrates Bayes theorem Best-Worst Method identify prioritize From extensive literature reviews expert validation, 17 were identified. Findings reveal "lack technology infrastructure readiness" as most significant barrier, followed by inter-company cooperation" management support". Conquering these empowers fortify sector's resilience, while fostering development via circular economy practices. This is expected guide policymakers stakeholders crafting targeted strategies promoting steady sector Bangladesh.

The resilience of established business strategies has been tested in the wake recent global supply chain upheavals triggered by events like COVID-19 pandemic, Russia-Ukraine combat, Hamas-Israel war, and other geopolitical conflicts. Organizations are compelled to integrate sustainable practices into their chains navigate complexities post-COVID-19 era mitigate far-reaching consequences such disruptions. However, exploring imperatives from sustainability dimensions still remains underexplored, presenting a significant research gap, particularly fashion retail sector. In response, this study aims pioneer an innovative approach amalgamating Pareto analysis, Bayes theorem, Best-Worst Method evaluate comprehensively. Focusing on emerging economies Bangladesh its industry, methodology synthesizes insights literature reviews, expert feedback, analysis curate definitive set influential imperatives. Finally, Bayesian is applied examine them. results reveal availability government support schemes promote sustainability, developing strategic interventions ameliorate impact disruptive events, digitalizing as most monumental under economic, social, environmental perspectives, respectively. study’s implications for management offer valuable both academic practical application, blueprint industry thrive era. This work can not only advance theoretical understanding but also provide actionable guidance leaders robust, resilient, strategies.
