Abstract Encapsulation of perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) within metal oxide glasses and fabrication PeNCs@glass composites has emerged as a transformative approach to enhance the stability functionality these promising luminescent materials. This review comprehensively examines current state research on encapsulation techniques, highlighting their effectiveness in preserving structural integrity, optical properties PeNCs. The advantages mechanisms by which mitigate degradation PeNCs are discussed tunable glass structures for optimizing photoluminescence quantum efficiency encapsulated explored. further explores various experimental techniques characterizing made nanoscale extreme crystalline species short‐range ordered (amorphous) microstructures.
