The purpose of this research was to evaluate the quality small features fabricated by fused filament fabrication (FFF) method. samples containing circular and square cross-sections through holes with different dimensions, lengths, orientation angles were printed from ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) filament. adopted optical inspection method allowed us conduct observations individual their measurements. image processing software used determine accuracy dimensions shape cross-sections. Feret’s diameters for evaluation comparing them theoretical assumed in a 3D CAD model. Considering relationship between real features, general empirical equations predicting equivalent developed. proposed can be easily implemented widely applied other especially internal made using various additive manufacturing methods.

By creating a new algorithm, macro is developed has the capability determine any suitable type of whether 3D, 4D 5D generating Additive Manufacturing products. The methodology this study focused starting from designing 3D CAD models products until planning by creation macro. algorithm tested simulations extended up printing.
