Molecular hydrogen is a colorless, tasteless, biologically active small-molecule gas with reducing properties, demonstrating therapeutic and preventive effects across various human systems. Its mechanisms of action include selective antioxidation, anti-inflammatory effects, apoptosis inhibition, the regulation gene expression signaling pathways. In skin, molecular reduces oxidative damage by scavenging free radicals inhibiting stress, leading to improvements in texture tone. It also regulates inflammatory response, alleviating redness, itching, discomfort, while promoting skin repair regeneration. Moreover, activates antioxidant enzymes cells, boosting their capacity delaying aging. Clinical trials show that significantly improves conditions like acne, chloasma, sensitivity. However, research cosmetology remains its early stages, unanswered questions regarding action, optimal dosage, long-term safety.
