The high consumption and cost of cement are the bottleneck problems that limit development cemented tailings backfilling technology. low-consumption backfill is immersed in a weak acid/alkaline groundwater environment for long time. Reducing can easily lead to such as sudden decrease strength leakage heavy metals. Through monolithic leaching test static uniaxial compressive tests, metals’ concentration backfills different pH soaking solutions were measured at times. Results show lower will result CTB higher rate metal leaching. Long-term exposure an acidic/alkaline instability destruction structure. A microscopic examination reveals creation hydration products improve structure’s compactness while also lowering internal porosity but solidify ions various ways. first-order reaction/diffusion model (FRDM) better evaluate behavior CTB. This study helps technology, thereby contributing sustainable mining geotechnologies.

This study explored the potential of ultrafine kaolin as a geopolymer raw material, focusing on reactivity calcined products and its influencing factors. Through series analytical techniques, including thickening experiments, particle size analysis, SEM, XRD, FT-IR, effects calcination temperature, time, Si-Al ratio were evaluated. The results indicated that temperature significantly impacts reactivity, with optimal conditions found between 600 °C 800 °C, yielding metakaolin times 12 to 43 min. Temperatures above 900 led formation low-reactivity phases like mullite. also influenced durations varying from 97 min at 0.85 0.9 increasing 157 0.95. Calcination time had smallest effect, ranging 10 25 over 4 8 h. Additionally, altered size, initially expanding due thermal expansion later shrinking lattice distortion 700 °C. By adjusting these parameters, could be tailored suit specific needs. research provides theoretical foundation for metakaolin’s application in construction materials offers novel insights into preparation.
