ABSTRACT This work reports the influence of bio‐derived silver (Ag) nanoparticles insertion on properties polyvinyl alcohol/carboxymethyl cellulose (PVA/CMC) polymer blend prepared by solution casting method. X‐ray diffraction studies reveal dispersion into matrices. Thermal DSC and TGA indicate increased thermal stability due to addition nanoparticles. Three different steps weight loss shown dTGA curves water adsorbed, elimination side chains, decomposition main chain. The maximum degradation pure sample occurred at a peak temperature around 252°C with 65% degradation, whereas doped samples 322°C 26% which evidences sample. UV–visible spectral analysis shows decrease in both direct indirect band gap values increasing dopant concentration host, is an indication formation complexes between filler. antifungal PVA/CMC/Ag films are evaluated against four distinct fungus strains. findings that activity index amount Ag filled in. According study, doping PVA/CMC increases its antimicrobial efficacy. Polyaniline has been utilized in various applications, yet its widespread adoption often impeded by challenges. Composite systems have proposed as a means of mitigating some these limitations, and anthranilic acid (2-aminobenzoic acid) emerged possible moderator for use co-polymer systems. It offers improved solubility retention electroactivity neutral alkaline media, and, significantly, it can also bestow chemical functionality through carboxylic substituent, which greatly ease post-polymer modification. The benefits using (as homopolymer or copolymer) demonstrated applications including corrosion protection, memory devices, photovoltaics, biosensors.
