ABSTRACT
Aim
To
date,
studies
exploring
patterns
of
fathers'
involvement
in
their
neonate's
care

neonatal
intensive
unit
(NICU)
and
barriers
to
have
utilised
qualitative
approaches,
which
can
be
time‐
resource‐consuming.
This
study
aimed
explore
a
surgical
NICU
using
novel
tool
along
with
identifying
potential
facilitators
care.
Methods
single‐centre
prospective
cohort
was

Abstract
Purpose:
To
assess
the
feasibility
of
implementing
Listening
Visits
(LV)
in
an
Italian
neonatal
intensive
care
unit
(NICU).
Study
Design
and
Methods:

implementation
LV

empathic
listening
problem-solving
sessions
provided
by
a
psychologist
to
26
parents
hospitalized
preterm
newborns.
Using
RE-AIM
framework,
three

were
assessed:
