Abstract Research suggests that a disproportionate number of female individuals being treated for an eating disorder (ED) also have autism spectrum (ASD). Alexithymia, or difficulty identifying and describing emotions, may mediate the relationship between ED ASD. In this study, we explored association autistic traits with symptoms alexithymia pathology, as well potential mediating role alexithymia. Two hundred twenty‐eight participants aged 18 older were recruited from online support platforms to complete anonymous survey via Qualtrics. The included three questionnaires: Toronto Alexithymia Scale‐20, Autism‐Spectrum Quotient (AQ), 13‐item Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire. More than half (54.8%) met clinical threshold on AQ. Participants positive screen AQ scale reported more (92.6% vs. 79.8% those without), B = 9.02, p < 0.001. A was associated significantly greater disordered symptoms, 4.26, 0.031. mediated association, × b 1.98, 0.05. results establish strong alexithymia, supporting previous data suggesting struggle identify emotions. Additionally, served mediator eating. Understanding help inform treatment who are struggling ED.

Functional neurological disorder (FND), formerly called hysteria and conversion disorder, is a complicated condition that empirically difficult to investigate. هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى خفض الإليكسيثيميا لتحسين التفاعل الاجتماعي لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد مرتفعي الأداء الوظيفي من خلال برنامج قائم على بعض الوظائف التنفيذية، وكذلك الكشف عن استمرارية فعالية هذا البرنامج في الوظيفي(المجموعة التجريبية) بعد فترة المتابعة، وتكونت عينة (6) أطفال الوظيفي، تراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (7- 9) سنوات، بمتوسط (7.833)، وانحراف معياري (0.752)، أدوات مقياس الإليكسيثيميا، ومقياس الاجتماعي، والبرنامج القائم التنفيذية وجميعها إعداد/ الباحثين، وأظهرت نتائج ثبات المتابعة.
