Chronic oxidative distress results in cellular damage, necessitating adaptive mechanisms for redox balance. The transcription factor nuclear erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) is pivotal the regulation of key antioxidant and cytoprotective genes. Under normal conditions, Nrf2 undergoes rapid degradation through polyubiquitination. However, it can be activated during eustress via modifications its inhibitor Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (KEAP1). Activation Nrf2-Keap1 signaling pathway may decelerate aging-related muscle degeneration, such as sarcopenia cachexia. In this study, we investigated efficacy two muscle-active endogenous factors, creatine L-β-aminoisobutyric acid (L-BAIBA), well natural phytochemicals, luteolin silibinin, to induce murine myoblast cell line C2C12. Our revealed that only significantly enhances activity both proliferating differentiated C2C12 cells, leading increased expression target genes cells. contrast, other three compounds had either no or minor effects on gene expression. underscore distinct responses cells different activators, emphasizing significance context their biological highlight a potential future treatment option counteract wasting associated with
