The digital transition is one of the biggest challenges new millennium. One key drivers this need to adapt rapidly changing and heterogeneous technological landscape that continuously evolving. Digital Twin (DT) technology can promote at an urban scale due its ability monitor, control, predict behaviour complex systems processes. As several scientific studies have shown, DTs be developed for infrastructure city management, facing global changes. are based on sensor-distributed networks support management propose intervention strategies future forecasts. In present work, a three-axial operative framework proposed developing DT system using Venice as case study. three axes were chosen sustainable development: energy, mobility, resiliency. fragile cultural heritage, which needs specific protection strategies. methodology starts from analysis state-of-the-arts technologies definition features. Three different proposed, aggregating features in list fields each axis. open-source database then analysed consider data already available city. Finally, services results show improve by adopting DT.

The application of films on conventional glazing aims at increasing the performance by reducing energy needs and indoor comfort. Photochromic in particular can alter their optical properties due to a chromatic change response solar radiation, allowing for reduced glare levels heat gains. However, despite potential application, this refurbishment solution is still poorly explored. Therefore, main purpose work was experimentally evaluate thermal luminous double with without photochromic film installed, using two office rooms Lisbon as case study. An extended field experimental campaign conducted simultaneously both offices, where temperature, radiation illuminance were collected. key contribution novelty research lies assessment visual comfort conditions under real-occupancy. Even though significantly increased surface temperatures glazing, air temperature not negatively affected, an increase up 14% working hours comfortable during heating period. Illuminance vertical/horizontal plane 24/36% presence film, when compared clear resulting 7% useful period, large areas room imperceptible daylight facing system. impact less noticeable cooling
