Building energy efficiency programs face significant challenges in performance monitoring and occupant engagement, which hinder the achievement of sustainability goals built environment. Traditional systems often suffer from intermediary-dependent workflows, insufficient transparency, reliability issues, leading to conflicts among stakeholders reduced participation. This study proposes a blockchain-enabled solution that leverages Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) improve reliability, traceability systems. By integrating Digital Twin (DT) technology, blockchain, token marketplace, platform not only enhances capabilities but also incentivizes occupants adopt energy-efficient behaviors through Fungible Token (FT) rewards. Abstract In the context of global sustainable development, various industries actively account for their carbon emission to address climate change effectively. University campuses should also participate in this pursuit. This study takes Henan Polytechnic south campus as an example. Energy and food consumption data were collected from school’s relevant offices, other obtained through questionnaires multiplied by corresponding factors calculate 2019. Results showed that 65327.44 tons, with a per capita 1.51 tons. The analysis revealed electricity heating systems constituted primary contributors emission.
