Initial findings indicate the effectiveness of internet-based interventions for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). In order to substantiate these findings, a seven-module guided intervention was created and examined. We report mixed data participants with clinical subclinical BDD treatment group (n = 18). investigated feasibility, quality program content, design usability, its effects on symptom severity related psychopathology. Adherence low dropout rate high (55.6%). The perceived website visual aesthetic were rated high. Credibility expectancy medium level. Satisfaction appearance improved significantly in intention-to-treat analysis (d 0.58). sum, symptom-related outcomes evaluation showed positive trend albeit study conduction difficult. Future programs should investigate role additional motivation strategies more flexible support addressing known barriers.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to empower the young Chinese fans on social media through artificial intelligence (as virtual influencers) control their body image. aimed investigate fans’ opinions, experiences, and obstacles in relation image perception, acceptance satisfaction in-depth interviews with 21 informants. Based interview questions research aims objectives, a total 11 themes were formulated perform thematic analysis. According findings, fan involvement, use, exposure idealized ideals influencers had an impact perceptions among female fans. findings also highlighted relevance support positive groups fostering satisfaction. This study’s theoretical practical implications add current literature by shedding light complex interplay between celebrity, practices, emphasizes importance focused interventions networks that meet specific issues experience maintaining confidence for embracing healthy weaknesses future directions are discussed
