The hydrothermal co-carbonization of sewage sludge and organic additives, namely 10 20% charcoal, fir, grass, an undersieved fraction municipal solid waste, was studied. benefits this combined process included the spectacular dewaterability performance slurry, proved by positive filtration tests shorter capillary suction times. For instance, a fir addition decreased c.a. 60% pressure time when compared to carbonization sludge. A 10% waste resulted in 15.72 s time. Anaerobic digestion is one of the most recommended methods for utilising sewage sludge produced by wastewater treatment plants.However, increasing amount micropollutants in digested can significantly limit its future utilisation.Recent studies suggests that hydrothermal carbonization process be used as a complementary method management, due to improved quality solid products -hydrochar.Moreover, this allows possibility reusing liquid by-products anaerobic biogas production.However, hydrochar generated from carbonisation has higher concentration heavy metals and low energy value, which limits use agriculture sectors.This study highlights partial resolution problem, mixing with screenings co-hydrothermal process.The findings show improvements properties including total solids measured according ISO, inorganic fractions determined inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry calorific values calorimetric bomb.Biomethane potential tests were conducted on by-products.The results showed an average increase biomethane liquids obtained compared without series 1, 2 3 -up 60%, 40% 26% three different sludges initial content 2.6%, 12.5% 21.5% w/w.
