The ability of closed-loop supply chains (CLSC) and reverse logistics (RL) to improve the triple bottom line (economic, social environmental values) has increased development design management models for CLSCs RL. Consequently, there exists an extensive body literature dedicated exploring these issues. This paper reviews recent relevant on CLSC RL with emphasis uncertainty, carbon emissions, greenness index, return product quality reliability considerations. selected references are organized, reviewed, analyzed establish valuable mapping highlight major findings. Finally, outcomes synthesized, primary research gaps emphasized, pointing toward potential avenues future investigation. These findings reveal that efforts must be directed towards multi-criteria indices multi-objective robust optimization uncertain returns.
