The city of Pirenópolis offers tourism, allowing access to several attractions, such as the Historical Center and its natural landscapes. Therefore, this article presents a proposal for environmental valuation called Travel Cost Method. tourist activity in stands out an essential source income revenue municipality. Lake Tana is a well-known tourist spot in northern Ethiopia that lures both domestic and foreign tourists. The lake’s value still underrated, despite the site’s immense potential for recreation tourism. In this study, recreational of estimated, consumer characteristics associated with demand are analyzed. study employs Zero-Truncated Poisson (ZTP) regression model data generated by Individual Travel Cost Method (ITCM) draws information from 1094 on-site surveys. According to ZTP results, variables significantly positively include monthly income age visitors their preference other destinations such as Tis-Abay Gondar Fasiledes Royal Castle. However, respondents’ leisure time, overall cost, residential distance site all negatively recreation. Abstract The annual mean concentration of nutrients is a commonly used parameter in implementing the Water Framework Directive, to assess current environmental status and distance from goal. However, streams may vary significantly over short time spans so finding ‘true mean’ can be difficult. We hourly turbidity data optical sensors 10 four Nordic countries, we prepared mimic series for weekly, fortnightly, monthly sampling strategies. calibrated sensor with total phosphorus grab samples. then assessed how values both vary, depending not only on number samples collected per year but also stream catchment characteristics. found that uncertainty decreased increasing frequency size, decreasing proportion agricultural land catchment. there was higher risk underestimating TP than overestimating it, meaning managers will assume water quality better it is.
