Minimal research has delved into the latent categories of cyberchondria among undergraduate nursing students and its correlation with eHealth literacy health anxiety. In this study, convenience sampling was employed to conduct a survey 713 utilizing General Information Survey Form, Chinese Version Brief Cyberchondria Scale, eHEALS Health Anxiety Inventory, yielding 692 valid responses. Through profile analysis, categorized three distinct profiles: 'Low Search-Low Disturbance Group' (12.3%), 'High (41.3%), Search-High (46.4%). Key determinants influencing these profiles were identified as gender, decision-making capability, fear becoming ill, negative consequences associated illness (p < 0.05). The study unveils that levels are significantly high students, influenced by various factors. Strategic interventions encompassing cognitive, emotional, social dimensions suggested decrease prevalence within demographic.
