The
objective
of
developing
effective
triazine-based
corrosion
inhibitors
aims
to
mitigate
the
significant
issue
in
carbon
steel
pipelines
within
oil
and
gas
field
environments.
In
present
study,
we
synthesised
a
inhibitor
designated
as
ST-2
through
two-step
process
utilising
melamine,
octylamine,
diethylenetriamine
ethanedioic
acid
precursor
materials.
structural
characterisation

conducted
using
Fourier
transform
infra-red
spectroscopy

nuclear
magnetic
resonance
spectroscopy.
