Semiconductor
based
photo-catalysts
which
was
an
efficient
process
to
treat
water
and
wastewater.There
are
various
techniques
can
be
used
for
enhancement
of
photo-catalytic
properties
such
as
element
rich
strategy,
defect
control
facet
engineering.Many
methods
were
manufacturing
BiOBr,
including
ion-exchange
method,
solvothermal
wet-chemical
ultra-sonication
co-precipitation
method
hydrothermal
method.Various
operational
parameters
have
initial
pH
solution,
catalyst
dosage
inorganic
ions
been
employed
show
their
roles
on
the
photo-degradation
efficiency
pollutants.Elemental
doping
coupled
semiconductors
widely
using
enhancing
BiOBr
performance.It
concluded
that
binary
ternary
composites
ability
activity
increased
degradation
more
than
50%
compared
with
pure
BiOBr.According
suitable
band
structure,
bismuth
bromide
oxide
is
a
promising
candidate
wastewater
efficiently
by
technique.
