ABSTRACTWe present an advanced optical method to measure the phase function of circular intensity differential scattering (CIDS), i.e., normalized Mueller matrix element -S14/S11, from individual single flowing through aerosol particles. Here, a 32-anode photomultiplier tube and its associated electronics, combined with elliptical reflector, were used record functions, when particle illuminated by left-handed right-handed polarization laser beam around focus reflector successively. The new design does not need lock-in amplifier, modulator, rotating goniometer as traditional setup. It can reach detection ability maximum rate 50,000 particle/sec. CIDS functions tryptophan particles, polystyrene latex microspheres, aggregates Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis spores, Yersinia rohdei, bacteriophage MS2 measured, results showed that this has rapidly discriminate between bioaerosol non-bioaerosol particles. Keywords: Circular (CIDS)Mueller -S14/S11 Bioaerosol particlesChiralitySpiralElastic light scatteringScattering functionDisclaimerAs service authors researchers we are providing version accepted manuscript (AM).
