While studies have shown its potential benefits, few investigations systematically explore how nurses implement WeChat-based and pregnant women engage with these interventions within public hospital settings. Understanding both provider patient perspectives is critical developing equitable, effective digital maternal care. A qualitative exploratory design was employed four hospitals Shanxi Province, Seventeen obstetric eight participated semi-structured interviews between March August 2024. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify commonalities divergences nurse-driven patient-driven experiences. Nurses perceived extending their professional reach beyond physical clinic hours enhancing education, aligning Technology Acceptance Model constructs usefulness ease use. However, organizational constraints, training gaps, blurred work-life boundaries posed challenges. Pregnant similarly recognized WeChat's convenience quick clarifications access nurse-vetted information, yet wide variations health literacy led uneven engagement. Cultural factors, such extended family involvement preferences in-person consultations, further influenced nurse usage patterns. Despite challenges, participants converged on value complementary that could reduce visits, offer immediate reassurance, bolster continuity holds significant promise improving outcomes by facilitating frequent, real-time communication expectant mothers. Although studies have discussed the association between related stress and fatigue, few analyzed media characteristics corresponding to social interaction their effects on from perspective of relations structure. This paper aims explore network heterogeneity, stressors a person-environment misfit. Design/methodology/approach The survey data 402 users were analyzed, hierarchical regression models used validate proposed theoretical model. Findings Data analysis showed that supplementary misfits (network heterogeneity) complementary (information overload role conflict) positively affect fatigue. Additionally, can indirectly through misfits. results also confirmed positive moderating effect relationship climate heterogeneity conflict. However, quality information does not reduce impact overload. Originality/value study reveals mechanisms affecting user due lack match with environment. It provides evidence self-regulation among suggests how managers help alleviate it.

To test proposed model, an extensive survey was performed by collecting 1162 respondents from all walks life get real picture. We employed exploratory factor analysis (EFA) confirmatory (CFA) validate measurement key constructs. hypothetical relations among variables, we structural equation modeling (SEM). Furthermore, machine learning technique used robustness model. Results showed that greatly boosted with partially mediating relation. Gender found moderate relationship, female consumers being more susceptible caused Spendception. The made feel less noticeable, led people without realizing financial impact. construct extends existing behavior theories explaining how reduce barriers spending. It bridges gap between pain paying, demonstrating lack immediate physicality payments alters consumers’ perceptions spending, leading higher behavior. findings also offer actionable insights for marketers designing targeted campaigns leverage effects provide design policymakers promote literacy, ensuring ethical use systems.
