Market competitiveness and waste pollution are the two biggest problems facing modern world. The first one may be handled with appropriate production marketing tactics, while last can reclaimed by recycling any unused products employing disposable items that environmentally friendly. This study employs both integrated decentralised frameworks to evaluate forward reverse supply chain rivalry in a closed-loop dual-channel for sustainable products. Competition on buy-back prices is also studied beyond price competition chain. Two collectors collect used goods under buyback competition, then screen them, ship them back manufacturer. Strategic supply chain management (SCM) is essential for organizations striving to optimize performance and attain their goals. Prediction of distribution cost (SCMDC) one branch SCM it's For this purpose, four machine learning algorithms, including random forest (RF), support vector (SVM), multilayer perceptron (MLP) decision tree (DT), along with deep using convolutional neural network (CNN), was used predict analyze SCMDC. A comprehensive dataset consisting 180,519 open-source data points make the structure each algorithm. Evaluation based on Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) Correlation coefficient (R2) show CNN model has high accuracy in SCMDC prediction than other models. The algorithm demonstrated exceptional test dataset, an RMSE 0.528 R2 value 0.953. Notable advantages CNNs include automatic hierarchical features, proficiency capturing spatial temporal patterns, computational efficiency, robustness variations, minimal preprocessing requirements, end-to-end training capability, scalability, widespread adoption supported by extensive research. These attributes position as preferred choice precise reliable predictions, especially scenarios requiring rapid responses limited resources.

ABSTRACT Advancing technologies have led to structural change in production methods, influencing not only business practices but also significantly reshaping consumer mindsets. Businesses increasingly utilise cues, such as ‘handmade’, differentiate their products and foster engagement. While prior studies demonstrate that cues can affect responses, it remains unclear how the impact of these (e.g., handmade vs. machine‐made) differs between segments. Marketers remain uncertain about strategically leverage effects across profiles product portfolios. Addressing this gap, research applies regulatory mode theory, providing a nuanced understanding cues' on engagement, with focus locomotion mode.
