Abstract
The
C1q
protein,
which
contains
the
globular
(gC1q)
domain,
is
involved
in
innate
immune
response,
and
found
abundantly
shell,
it
participates

formation.

this
study,

novel
gC1q
domain-containing
gene
was
identified
from
Pinctada
fucata
martensii
(P.

as
PmC1qDC-1

review

into
recent
advancements
understanding
these
mechanisms,
emphasizing
their
significance
elucidating
the
functions

dynamics

process.

this

are

with
diverse
functional
domains,
selectively
exported
extrapallial
space,
which
directly
regulate
crystal
growth
morphology.
