The poultry industry, a cornerstone of global food security, produces substantial volumes wastewater containing veterinary antibiotics. These contaminants exacerbate the issue antibiotic resistance, posing severe environmental and public health threats. Despite extensive research on human pharmaceuticals, removal antibiotics from slaughterhouse remains underexplored. Environmental nanoremediation technologies present promising solutions with their distinctive properties selective remediation capabilities. This mini-review examines recent advancements in synergistic hybrid nano-remediation techniques aimed at wastewater. It highlights challenges integrating advanced monitoring systems treatment methods, particularly potential bio-based composite materials that combine dual adsorptive photocatalytic functionalities. review emphasizes pressing need for interdisciplinary to establish comprehensive, actionable guidelines responsible use nanotechnology remediation.
