Urban vitality, which indicates the development level of a city and quality life its residents, is complex subject in urban research due to diverse assessment methods intricate impact mechanisms. This study uses multisource data evaluate vitality Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) across social, economic, cultural, environmental dimensions. It analyzes spatial distribution characteristics examines relationships between land use at both regional scales. The results indicate that GBA generally exhibits pattern high central density low peripheral spread, where built-up areas cropland emerge as key influencing factors. Cities with different developmental backgrounds have unique vitality. In high-vitality cities, role area diminishes, natural ecosystems, such wetlands, enhance contrast, low-vitality boost agriculture-related types exert lower negative or even positive effect. contributes understanding structures related scales offers insights for planners, builders, managers formulating targeted enhancement strategies collaborative levels.

Urban vitality is the life force of a city. In this paper, starting from three subsystems population, economy, and function, comprehensive index system for measuring urban was constructed respectively scales: grid, prefecture-level administrative region, agglomeration. GIS spatial analysis methods were used to measure analyze distribution pattern. Then, MGWR reveal main factors affecting difference in influence mechanism vitality. Accordingly, countermeasures suggestions creating vibrancy put forward. The result shows following: At grid scale, presents pattern "large dispersion, small agglomeration", which has significant differentiation characteristics city scale hierarchy. region overall cities at prefecture level above China not high, differences are large. scan identified 28 vigorous with high potential, belonging 6 clusters. On agglomeration, according degree vitality, there gradients. affected by internal external environment.

Urban vitality and neighborhood satisfaction are areas of great interest within the field urban studies, as a measure attractiveness city an evaluation that residents make their living environments. Using survey geospatial data from Longitudinal Social Study Chile (2019) JANE Index (2021), this study performs regression analysis to examine relationship between satisfaction. Through set variables evaluate such safety, connectivity, green recreational areas, cleanliness beauty, proximity main activity, commercial we analyze with six conditions for vitality. Previous studies have identified vital urban spaces through the concentration of people, diversity land uses and buildings, accessibility, existence a compact fabric. However, relationship between vitality social sustainability has not been studied in these terms. This paper seeks to analyse implications city model for residents context Latin American city: Santiago de Chile. To do so, we use JANE index measure formal conditions built environment vitality, Longitudinal Social Study Chile sustainability. We first PCA technique reveal six core components sustainability: Sense belonging, Safety, Sociability, Well-being, Satisfaction with housing, Conservation neighbourhood. then test associations strength by means multiple linear regression model.
