With the rising demands for personal vehicles of growing middle class in India, their increasing quest comfort and social status, emissions from road transportation are manifold times. To fulfil dual need demand as well lower vehicular emissions, it is important to replace all future vehicle purchase with electric (EVs). This study analyses socio-psychological determinants process by which an individual might develop intention buy EV near future. Using Structural Equation Modeling mediation analysis, interrelationships between Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) constructs along three additional constructs, ''cost', 'herd behavior', 'personal norm' analyzed several direct indirect pathways intentions possibly form people's mind outlined. Subjective norms followed perceived behavioral control emerge significant formation pathway. Though cost, herd behavior, alone do not influence formation, these factors mediates TPB variables forming adopt EVs. Hence, current promotion policies, primarily focused on subsidies be complemented other attitudinal norm-based nudges promote faster adoption India.

Paratransit provides the majority of road transport in South Africa and many other countries sub-Saharan African region. However, perceptions electric vehicles (EV) factors that influence intention to adopt EVs for critical agents this sector, vehicle owners drivers, have yet be explored. The aim study is provide insights can inform policies strategies promote To achieve this, we collected 4,452 survey responses from paratransit drivers Africa. 38% respondents expressed a willingness purchase an EV when they become available. Using structural equation modeling, test eleven hypotheses regarding adoption intention, based on innovative integrated framework consumer behavior. results show risk perceptions, environmental considerations perception cost strongest although come into play, with ten out being supported. most salient takeaway model output interventions emphasize safety business advantages will effective at improving but diversity thoughtful approaches necessary ensure significant lasting change area. Finally, use coefficients simulate effects example offer sensible guidelines formulating targeted promotional address principal concerns EVs.

In contemporary times, regulations have been established to govern access and integration of electric vehicles, which hold immense potential in mitigating the adverse impacts transportation arising from escalating mobility demands rapid urbanization. Nevertheless, their implementation poses intricate challenges due multifaceted nature sustainability other complexities, as they are considered a prospective solution address pressing issue climate change achieve holistic sustainability. Moreover, this study elucidates methodological approach employed for selecting comprehensive set criteria be energy planning initiatives involving incorporation encompassing both renewable conventional sources. The selection process was informed through thorough review existing literature insightful input experts, utilizing Likert scale arithmetic mean reference benchmarks. outcomes research yielded identification 27 sub-criteria, categorized into five distinct groups: technical, economic, social, environmental, risk-related factors, thereby enabling evaluation projects associated with adoption vehicles. findings derived employing hierarchical analytical fuzzy logic FAHP highlight considerable most sub-criteria devising effective measures. Notably, related policy-governance environmental aspects emerged influential, according collective expertise consulted group. This significantly contributes enhancing sustainable advancing progress towards attaining development goals. By delineating pertinent process, augments dedicated supporting decision-making transportation, particularly application Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) method.

Firms are increasingly expected to exhibit social responsibility and contribute sustainability goals. Emerging studies have highlighted the importance of responsible leaders who stimulate their employees, which then results in employee voluntary behavior toward environmental practices, referred as organizational citizenship for environment (OCBE). Drawing from learning theory, current study explores impact leadership (RL) on OCBE using data obtained employees Turkish manufacturing firms. Additionally, harmonious passion transformational (ETL) were examined mediator moderator respectively. The indicated that RL has a positive effect OCBE. passion. Employee OCE. relationship between was mediated by Also, it discovered high level ETL, link is stronger firms’ whose perceived ETL. Based findings, implications practice research discussed.

Purpose This study investigated the intention of carriers to switch green vehicles in last-mile delivery (GVLDs) an emerging market. Design/methodology/approach A research model was developed based on association between consumption value theory (CVT), perceived GVLD knowledge and environmental concern. An online survey administered who use conventional for delivery. examined using structural equation modeling. Findings Results indicate that concern attitudes toward adopting GVLDs are significantly cultivated through value. Specifically, epistemic most significant promoting awareness, while social paramount fostering GVLDs. Furthermore, motivated Similarly, positively impacted Finally, concerns induced carriers’ Practical implications The findings can help policymakers, manufacturers logistics providers understand decisions shifting from a perspective value, product preservation discussing practical recommendations Originality/value is early endeavor elucidates switching behavior It emphasizes incorporating into CVT context developing country. enriches understanding how promote awareness
