Accessibility is closely related to residents’ well-being and quality of life a potential indicator social equity. This study aims present methodology for assessing the combined equity living service amenities (LSAs) based on accessibility. focuses fourteen types LSAs in six dimensions improves three-step floating catchment area (3SFCA) model by considering behavioral demand characteristics different age groups. Taking main built-up Xi’an as an example, modified 3SFCA applied assess accessibility LSAs, supply–demand index used measure supply level horizontal dimension. Furthermore, random forest regression was screen key socioeconomic indicators affecting then binary spatial correlation local reveal distribution between LSA vertical Finally, comprehensive evaluated space superposition. The results showed that there serious imbalance Xi’an’s area, with polarized oversupply weak areas, especially low-grade LSAs. relatively low children young middle-aged groups, intergenerational inequalities were particularly pronounced among them. lower-income group generally at disadvantage accessing high-demand amenities, those who resided affordable housing periphery city more likely face exclusion. emphasizes importance distributing urban resources equitably which can help decision makers achieve balance allocation promote sustainable development.

As the proportion of world’s elderly population continues to increase, need for age-appropriate public facilities is rising. This study investigated key elements affecting older people’s satisfaction with seating in parks and proposed a sustainable design strategy based on evaluation analysis. An system containing 20 indicators was constructed. The theory attractive quality (the Kano model) used classify demand clarify logical relationship between role each element parks. Then, matrix analysis importance carried out importance–performance (IPA) determine direction improvement. results both were comprehensively analyzed requiring critical improvement, order maintenance research shows that seat should consider several factors, including setting density, backrest support, good appearance, helping handrails, bright colors, so on. provides suggestions maintaining improving diversity seats comprehensive parks, resource integration product recycling. outcomes expected guide improvement construction within existing built-up areas increase use urban

Abstract Background At a time when life is starting to return normal following the global pandemic, medical service function as key component of public infrastructure in livable communities still have an undeniable importance. In practice, however, due heterogeneity distribution facilities, significant spatial imbalance can exist urban and country regions. By integrating circle theory complex system theory, we try propose new framework fill this gap explain formation mechanism equality. Furthermore, feasibility was verified by evaluating equality services primary, secondary, tertiary total Chengdu City, China. Methods Based on Z-score method, quantitative method constructed detect pattern Chengdu’s services. This help accurately identify function, thereby facilitating further refined policy formulation improve these functions. Results The results for accessibility within indicate that 97.69% population 63.76% metropolitan enjoy access services, but desirable gradually decreases around central line areas other districts counties. multi-center hierarchical structure level II, III reflects fact facilities main better than surrounding counties, counties are their peripheral areas. III, II exhibits clear structure, namely core-edge pattern. Urban construction spread from center outside, which fundamentally determines skeleton Chengdu. Conclusions Findings research contribute theoretical methodological insights into addressing functions regional system.

Ensuring the spatial equity of health service facilities (HSFs) is crucial for well-being residents. However, previous research has predominantly focused on accessibility and single-type facilities, neglecting residents’ demand diversified types services. This study proposes a multi-type, Gaussian-based, two-step floating catchment area method (MT-G2SFCA) to assess comprehensive multi-type HSFs in different age groups Hedong District Tianjin, with Gini coefficient bivariate local Moran’s I. Furthermore, key factors affecting were explored through geo-detector. The results indicate following: (1) Neglecting benefits facility type diversity can result an underestimation equity; (2) differences walking ability elderly overestimation (3) Pedestrian Route Directness factor high-density urban areas, especially that density elderly. emphasizes impact HSFs, which offer more precise holistic technical assistance policy recommendations optimizing allocation HSFs.
