Abstract
In
this
study,
the
efficacy
of
sono-assisted
adsorption
for
removal
methyl
violet
2B
(MV-2B)
was
investigated.
A
magnetic
adsorbent
synthesized
using
kaolin
and
TiO
2
,
designated
as
KTF.
Various
analyses
including
scanning
electron
microscopy
with
energy
dispersive
spectroscopy
(SEM–EDS),
Brunauer–Emmett–Teller
(BET),
Fourier
transform
infrared
(FTIR),
X-ray
powder
diffraction
(XRD),
Zeta
potential
vibrating
sample
magnetometer
(VSM)
were
conducted
to
characterize
structure
The
BET
surface
area
pore
volume
KTF
determined
be
65.279
m
/g
0.072
cm

/g,
respectively.

In
this
work,
novel
multifunctional
electrospun
nanofibrous
membranes
made
of
polyamide
(PA6)
and
loaded
with
silica
(SiO2)
and/or
titanium
dioxide
(TiO2)
nanoparticles
were
fabricated.
SiO2
NPs
first
prepared
then
characterized
by
TEM,
FE-SEM,
FTIR,
using
XRD
techniques,
confirming
the
formation
cristobalite
tetragonal
crystals
high
purity.

TiO2
or

studies
indicated
that

to
be

along
fiber
surface,

nanorods

values—i.e.,

mg/g

mg/g—respectively,
compared
SiO2-loaded
(23
mg/g),
kinetics
in
good
agreement
second-order
kinetic
model.
The
obtained
findings
pave
way
for
a
promising
use
water
purification.

Abstract
Methylene
blue
(MB)
is
a
heterocyclic
aromatic
chemical
compound
used
as
dye
in
various
dyeing
processes.
The
accumulation
of
such
an
organic
poses
significant
threat
to
both
the
environment
and
human
health.
Therefore,
numerous
biological,
physical,
processes
have
been
established
remove
MB
dye,
with
adsorption
being
most
predominant
dye-based
treatment
technology.
In
this
context,
aim
work
was
evaluate
properties
activated
carbon
derived
from
olive
pomace
against
methylene
blue.
To

scanning
electron
microscopy
(SEM),
energy

x-ray
spectroscopy

Polymeric
adsorbents
(PAs)
