Abstract In this study, the efficacy of sono-assisted adsorption for removal methyl violet 2B (MV-2B) was investigated. A magnetic adsorbent synthesized using kaolin and TiO 2 , designated as KTF. Various analyses including scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM–EDS), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Zeta potential vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) were conducted to characterize structure The BET surface area pore volume KTF determined be 65.279 m /g 0.072 cm 3 /g, respectively. VSM analysis confirmed superparamagnetic property effect contact time, initial MV-2B concentration, amount, temperature, ionic strength pH solution on Sono-assisted achieved at a rate 85.6% under optimal conditions: original pH, amount 0.2 g/100 mL, concentration 20 mg/L, time 15 min, temperature 22 °C. Conversely, lower efficiencies observed conventional methods employing shaking (37%) stirring (60.5%). kinetics followed pseudo-second order model, while Freundlich isotherm model exhibited superior fit (R = 0.985) in describing equilibrium behavior compared Langmuir Temkin models.

In this work, novel multifunctional electrospun nanofibrous membranes made of polyamide (PA6) and loaded with silica (SiO2) and/or titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles were fabricated. SiO2 NPs first prepared then characterized by TEM, FE-SEM, FTIR, using XRD techniques, confirming the formation cristobalite tetragonal crystals high purity. Accordingly, TiO2- TiO2/SiO2-loaded showed higher methylene blue (MB) absorption values—i.e., 26 mg/g 27 mg/g—respectively, compared SiO2-loaded (23 mg/g), kinetics in good agreement second-order kinetic model. The obtained findings pave way for a promising use water purification.

Abstract Methylene blue (MB) is a heterocyclic aromatic chemical compound used as dye in various dyeing processes. The accumulation of such an organic poses significant threat to both the environment and human health. Therefore, numerous biological, physical, processes have been established remove MB dye, with adsorption being most predominant dye-based treatment technology. In this context, aim work was evaluate properties activated carbon derived from olive pomace against methylene blue. Polymeric adsorbents (PAs) have been gaining increased attention for application in industrial wastewater (WW) treatment. However, most studies on evaluating PAs specifically emulsified oil removal are currently limited to performance screening through batch mode testing. Hence, this paper presents a thorough fixed-bed assessment of advanced the from WWs. A unique custom-built column setup was developed with continuous test protocol that involves both adsorption and regeneration media. robust procedure also established automatically prepare representative synthetic produced water (PW) containing oil-water emulsions. Four cutting-edge were evaluated, out which two being tested first time targeting removal. Experimental tests conducted address resin capacity, efficiency, reproducibility repeat cycles.
