Global crop yield and growth are severely impacted by hazardous heavy metal contamination of the soil water. This study examined effects on a range physiological, biochemical, morphological parameters two canola (Brassica napus L.) cultivars, Punjab (V1) Super (V2), when they were subjected to three different levels cadmium (Cd) stress (0, 1.5, 2.25 mM) foliar application biostimulant, i.e., Moringa leaf extract (MLE). Plants in V1 (Punjab) collect more Cd both their aerial subterranean sections than V2 (Super).The physiological indicators showed substantial (p < 0.05) deterioration as result buildup. Ascorbic acid malondialdehyde (MDA) hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) considerably elevated under stress. has higher H2O2 values which suggests that oxidative there higher. Additionally, activity some antioxidant enzymes, such catalase peroxidase (65 40%, respectively), reduced concentration (2.25 mM). demonstrated stronger defence mechanisms V1, seen 115% rise POD activity, 70% increase shoot fresh weight, 49% amino acids following MLE spray. Despite this, was still able withstand Cd. Under stress, treatment increased kinds' yield, growth, characteristics. Toxic cadmium (Cd) was removed from water using eggshell-based hydroxyapatite (HAp) grafted bentonite (HAp/bentonite) composite through a straightforward chemical synthesis route. The as-prepared adsorbents were characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis (BET). Optimization of the initial adsorbate concentration, adsorbent dosage, pH, contact time-all which affect adsorption process-was performed central design (CCD) response surface methodology (RSM). 99.3 percent adsorptive removal efficiency observed at an concentration 61.58 mg/L Cd (II), with dosage 1.58 g, solution pH 5.88, time 49.63 min. variance (ANOVA) performed, multiple correlation coefficient (R2) found to be 0.9915 confirms significance predicted model. The application of fungicides (such as tebuconazole) can impose harmful impacts on the ecosystem and humans. In this study, a new calcium modified water hyacinth-based biochar (WHCBC) was prepared its effectiveness for removing tebuconazole (TE) via adsorption from tested. results showed that Ca loaded chemically (CaC2O4) onto surface WHCBC. capacity increased by 2.5 times in comparison to unmodified hyacinth biochar. enhanced attributed improved chemical through modification. data were better fitted pseudo-second-order kinetics Langmuir isotherm model, indicating process dominated monolayer adsorption. Soil contamination with cadmium (Cd) and chromium (Cr) pose serious threats to food safety ecosystem stability. In current study, pristine biochar (BC) iron-modified (Fe-BC) were prepared, the potential of BC Fe-BC reduce bioavailability Cd Cr in soil, their uptake, toxicity rapeseed (Brassica napus L) mechanisms involved examined. a pot experiment varying levels applied Cr-contaminated soil. The results indicated that soil supplementation highest level (2 %) incremented dry weights roots, shoots, seeds by 65 %, 33 149 respectively. Additionally, treated plants showed increase photosynthesis, transpiration, stomatal conductance, intercellular CO2 emissions, chlorophyll contents 43.2 39.5 33.5, 36.9 % 28 Plants amplified superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX) activities. regarding saturated unsaturated fatty acid treatment exhibited greatest linolenic acid, oleic erucic linoleic contents, increasing these acids 21 6.5 53 14.5 Moreover, depicted increased oil protein 14 29 application dramatically decreased 44 88 16 38 57 addition significantly lowered concentration exchangeable (Exc) bound carbonate (B-C) fractions while iron-manganese (B-Fe-Mn) bounded residual (Res) fractions. conclusion, amendment could be used as sustainable approach ecological environmental risks associated soils contaminated Cr, ensure safer crop production.
