In this study we investigated the efficacy of a novel material parthenium weed (Parthenium hysterophorus L.) biochar (PBC), iron doped zinc oxide nanoparticles (nFe-ZnO), and modified with nFe-ZnO (Fe-ZnO@BC) to adsorb heavy metals (HMs) reduce their uptake by wheat (Triticum aestivum in highly chromite mining contaminated soil. The co-application applied soil conditioners exhibited positive effect on immobilization restricted HMs below threshold levels shoot content wheat. maximum adsorption capacity was because large surface area, cation exchange capacity, precipitation, complexation conditioners. scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) showed porous smooth structure derived that helped adsorption, increase efficiency fertilizers nutrients retention which help enhancement condition. Under different application rates highest translocation factor (TFHMs) obtained at 2 g rate followed descending order: Mn > Cr Cu Ni Pb. overall TFHMs found <1.0 indicating low accumulation roots from slight transferred shoot, thus satisfying remediation requirements.Wheat is considered as an important staple food grown containing toxic releasing weathering mafic ultramafic rocks area. present research work significantly beneficial identifying treatment technologies immobilize Parthenium plant.

Global crop yield and growth are severely impacted by hazardous heavy metal contamination of the soil water. This study examined effects on a range physiological, biochemical, morphological parameters two canola (Brassica napus L.) cultivars, Punjab (V1) Super (V2), when they were subjected to three different levels cadmium (Cd) stress (0, 1.5, 2.25 mM) foliar application biostimulant, i.e., Moringa leaf extract (MLE). Plants in V1 (Punjab) collect more Cd both their aerial subterranean sections than V2 (Super).The physiological indicators showed substantial (p < 0.05) deterioration as result buildup. Ascorbic acid malondialdehyde (MDA) hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) considerably elevated under stress. has higher H2O2 values which suggests that oxidative there higher. Additionally, activity some antioxidant enzymes, such catalase peroxidase (65 40%, respectively), reduced concentration (2.25 mM). demonstrated stronger defence mechanisms V1, seen 115% rise POD activity, 70% increase shoot fresh weight, 49% amino acids following MLE spray. Despite this, was still able withstand Cd. Under stress, treatment increased kinds' yield, growth, characteristics.
