The improper disposal of toxic and carcinogenic organic substances resulting from the manufacture dyes, drugs pesticides can contaminate aquatic environments potable water resources cause serious damage to animal human health ecosystem. In this sense, heterogeneous photocatalysis stand out as one effective cost-effective depollution technique. use metal oxide nanocomposites (MON), mixture two or more oxides between these other functional semiconductor materials, have gained increasing attention researchers industrial developers a potential alternative produce efficient environmentally friendly photocatalysts for remediation contamination by compounds. Thus, work presents an updated review main advances in nanocomposites-based decontamination polluted substances.
