Ecological restoration through the use of submerged vegetation has been widely implemented both domestically and internationally, yielding significant results. The relationship between microbial communities become a key focus in current research. Despite this, regulation density post‐restoration remains topic debate, impact seasonal variations on requires further investigation. A comprehensive study was conducted different densities communities, water physicochemical properties, sediment nutrients, bacterial following semi‐constructed wetland ecological project. results indicated that around 50% led to highest dissolved oxygen (DO) content greater number unique operational taxonomic units. Furthermore, changes were found significantly influence α‐ β‐diversity. Redundancy analyses environmental factors explained variability α‐diversity, accounting for 74.63% variation. Particularly, CODCr identified as factor affecting while DO, pH, turbidity, total organic carbon had α‐diversity water. This advances our understanding importance its effects providing valuable insights management processes.

The culture of mandarin fish using artificial feed has been gaining increasing attention in China. Ensuring good water quality the ponds is crucial for successful aquaculture. Recently, trial pond-based rice floating beds (PRFBs) aquaculture shown promising results. This research assessed impact PRFBs on microbial community structure and overall pond, thereby enhancing our understanding its functions. results revealed that PRFB group exhibited lower levels NH4+-N, NO2−-N, NO3−-N, TN, TP, Alk pond compared to control group. diversity indices showed a declining trend, while these were At phylum level, there was considerable increase Proteobacteria abundance throughout period, suggesting may promote proliferation Proteobacteria. In group, remarkable decrease bacterial populations related carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus metabolism, including genera Rhodobacter, Rhizorhapis, Dinghuibacter, Candidatus Aquiluna, Chryseomicrobium as well CL500_29_marine_group. Overall, findings will provide basis application fed an diet beds.

The release of endogenous phosphorus (P) from sediments is the main cause lake eutrophication, even after successful control exogenous P. Among others, iron-bound P a major source P, and it necessary to reduce concentration by enhancing iron–phosphorus binding. Iron (Fe)-modified biochar adsorption an effective widely used method for fixing in sediments. In this paper, modification method, mechanism, application effect Fe-modified are reviewed. It found that most methods realized through physicochemical pathway. Therefore, prospect biological pathway presented. particular, possible iron-oxidizing bacteria (IOB) promoting binding modifications discussed. potential effects additions on microbial communities water also future research, emphasis should be placed mechanism analysis simulated polluted environments before large-scale use, ensure economic practicability sustainability applications.

Dredging, adsorbent inactivation, and phytoremediation are commonly used to control internal nitrogen phosphorus sediment loads in eutrophic still-water ecosystems, such as lakes ponds. However, the effectiveness of these remediation techniques has not been verified for rivers, lakes, reservoirs with large disturbances. In this study, a calcium-loaded clay granular (CRB) was prepared an alternative commercial adsorbents, experiment conducted on ecological restoration effects both dredging single treatments well combined flowing water. The enhancement effect above investigated. results indicated that CRB inactivation treatment reduced turbidity water by 63% 80%, respectively increased total permanganate index (CODMn) 25% 101% before phytoremediation, compared group. There were no significant differences nutrient indexes between group, but enhanced treatment. Compared treatment, CODMn decreased 13% 15%, respectively. Phytoremediation significantly improved treatments, individually combination. Additionally, there notable growth rates submerged plants contents different speciation among plant species. Selecting suitable species is recommended when implementing methods. This study highlights combination multiple effective provide guide
