Abstract The presence of pharmaceutical pollutants in water sources constitute a serious risk to human health and the environment. Catalytic ozonation has emerged as promising strategy for reducing these pollutants. This procedure uses ozone with help catalysts improve oxidation organic molecules. Recently, there been lot interest using zeolite an catalyst elimination contaminants from solutions. Zeolites have unique properties such their high surface area, porosity, ion‐exchange capabilities, that make them effective decomposition into harmless byproducts. study aims investigate efficiency catalytic aqueous solutions encompassing working mechanisms, determinants affecting process's efficiency, potential obstacles, perspective avenues advancement within this field.

The growing global population and limitations in fish catch production have led to a surge the demand for aquaculture. Contaminants of emerging concern (CEC) are frequently being detected at low levels surface water. These CECs, which include previously unidentified or unregulated pollutants, pose potential risks health environment, though their impacts not yet fully understood. Extensive research studies been proposed undertaken address issue aquaculture wastewater, aiming minimize its impact implement effective treatment methods. This review provides an analysis various technologies used treating wastewater using advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) focusing on photocatalysis ozonation. It examines advantages disadvantages, as well respective efficacies, discusses applications sustainable practices complying with Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, 6 line Environmental Social Governance (ESG) framework.
