Abstract A novel adsorbent (ZA/SiO2) was prepared by blending urea mixture of ZnSO4 and Al2(SO4)3 while using SiO2 as a support form. The adsorption properties ZA/SiO2 for the removal toxic metal ions (Cu(II) Cr(VI))from water were evaluated. By batch experiment method to investigate Cu(II) Cr(VI) solution treatment effect. sorption kinetics curves on L-shaped. What's more, solid concentration effect found in process kinetics.
